Tradovate Issues

Common Tradovate connection and sync problems.

“Session expired” error

Tradovate tokens expire after a period of inactivity. TradeVera handles this automatically:

  • When you open your dashboard, tokens expiring within 24 hours are proactively refreshed
  • If a token is fully expired, clicking Sync will redirect you to re-authorize with Tradovate
  • After re-authorization, your data syncs automatically — no extra steps needed

OAuth redirect not working

If the Tradovate authorization page doesn't redirect back to TradeVera:

  • Check that pop-up blockers aren't interfering
  • Try clearing your browser cookies for both TradeVera and Tradovate
  • Use an incognito/private window
  • Ensure you're clicking “Authorize” on the Tradovate consent screen

No accounts found after connecting

TradeVera only imports funded prop firm accounts. If no accounts appear:

  • Verify you have an active funded account (not demo or sim)
  • Confirm your prop firm uses Tradovate infrastructure
  • Make sure the account is in good standing with your prop firm
