Lost Accounts

How TradeVera tracks funded accounts that are revoked or blown.

When a prop firm revokes a funded account (due to max drawdown, rule violations, etc.), TradeVera automatically detects it and records it in your account history. This gives followers and viewers full transparency into your track record — not just surviving accounts.

How detection works

Every time you sync or reconnect your broker account, TradeVera compares the accounts returned by the broker API against your previously connected accounts. If a funded account is no longer returned, it's recorded as a lost account.

  • Automatic: No action needed from you — detection happens during every sync
  • Funded only: Only funded (included) accounts are tracked. Demo, test, and evaluation accounts are ignored
  • Permanent: Lost accounts are a historical record. If a broker temporarily fails to return an account, the record persists (prop firm accounts don't come back once revoked)
  • Non-blocking: Detection never prevents a sync from completing. If detection fails, your sync continues normally

What gets recorded

For each lost account, TradeVera stores:

  • Account name, platform, and prop firm
  • Date the loss was detected
  • Last known balance and cumulative P&L

Dashboard card

If you have any lost accounts, a Lost Accounts card appears on your dashboard inside the Connected Accounts section. It shows each lost account with its platform badge, firm badge, last known balance, and the date it was detected.

Public profile badges

Your public profile displays three verified badges when you have lost accounts:

  • Verified • Total Funded Accounts History: The total number of funded accounts you've ever connected
  • Verified • X current funded accounts: Your currently active funded accounts
  • Verified • Funded Accounts Lost: How many funded accounts were revoked

Score impact

Lost accounts apply a soft penalty to the Risk Management component of your TradeVera Score:

  • First loss forgiven: Everyone gets one — your first lost account has zero penalty
  • Gentle scaling: After the first, the penalty scales based on your loss ratio (lost accounts / total accounts ever)
  • Risk Management only: The other three score components (Consistency, Win Confidence, Longevity) are unaffected
Lost account history is preserved even if you disconnect all accounts. It's a permanent part of your verified trading record.
