Understanding data freshness and stale account handling.
TradeVera relies on manual syncing to keep your data up to date. Here's how data freshness works and what happens if you don't sync regularly.
What is “fresh” data?
Data is considered fresh if you've synced within the last 7 days. A daily cron job checks all accounts and flags those with stale data.
Stale account handling
- Accounts with stale data (>7 days since last sync) may be filtered from the leaderboard
- Your dashboard data is always visible to you regardless of freshness
- Your TradeVera Score and Elo rating are unaffected — they're based on synced data, not real-time feeds
Best practices
- Sync at least once per trading day for the most accurate data
- Sync after your last trade of the day for complete daily stats
- If you take a break from trading, sync when you return to update your account status
Make syncing part of your daily trading routine. Open TradeVera after your trading session, click Sync, and review your updated stats.
